It’s not a bad documentary, would recommend for general knowledge. I haven’t finished watching all the episodes though. There is some extent of cultural bias - in the second episode there was a scene where a picture of Hitler was flashed, followed by Stalin, and then Genghis Khan. It is a bit of a stretch to go from Fascist ideas to nomadic raiding, oh well.
On a side note, it is rather amusing to watch a guy in coat and tie delivering lectures in a desert.
